New Dark Matter Map Validates Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity
Project: Press release graphics in various formats detailing the new research from the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) collaboration; Researchers submitted a set of papers to The Astrophysical Journal featuring a groundbreaking new map of dark matter distributed across a quarter of the sky, extending deep into the cosmos, that confirms Einstein’s theory of how massive structures grow and bend light over the 14-billion-year life span of the universe.
Researchers: The ACT collaboration is an international consortium of more than 160 scientists from the U.S., the U.K., Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Chile, Switzerland, Japan, South Africa, and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
