Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain Infographic
The Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB) aims to discover mechanisms of resilience and maintenance in the aging brain and to establish a baseline for age-related changes in plasticity across many model systems, in order to identify potential interventions to minimize cognitive decline and extend healthy lifespan. SCPAB funds six collaborative projects among 21 labs that study 6 different species – worms, rats, mice, killifish, non-human primates and humans.
Working in close collaboration with interface designer and developer Jonas Parnow and Senior Scientist Kim Scobie PhD we designed and crafted an interface that allowed researchers to sort, filter, explore, find and compare all studies.
